“Underground Rave Zine Flash Montage” Raw black-and-white underground rave photography montage. Style of 1990s techno zines, Anton Corbijn documentary portraits, flash photography in dark clubs. 120 BPM pacing. Hard cut every beat. Each shot lasts ~0.5 seconds. RULE: every cut reveals a completely different eccentric female raver. No repeated subjects. Identity changes every frame. The sequence behaves like a chaotic contact sheet of rave portraits shot during one night. Environment dark industrial warehouse techno club concrete walls smoke haze sweat in the air crowd barely visible in darkness Camera raw 35mm point-and-shoot flash photography, direct flash hitting faces, deep black shadows behind subjects, grainy film texture, overexposed highlights, imperfect framing, handheld camera shake, occasionally slightly out of focus, like a photographer pushing through the dancefloor, taking portraits between dancers.
