[@Image 1] (Male lead reference) [@Image 2] (Female lead reference) Cinematic quality, 15 seconds, montage editing, no subtitles, Korean dialogue. Opening 0 to 1 second, warm yellow film grain, past, sunny afternoon cafe, she is sleeping face down on the table, he sits opposite, chin resting on his hand, looking down at her, his lips curling up uncontrollably, the picture has slight grain and overexposure. Hard cut 1 second, cold blue rainy night, present, empty rooftop, he stands with his back to the camera in the rain, his coat soaked and clinging to his back, motionless, like a stone statue abandoned by time, the temperature transition from warm yellow to cold blue breaks instantly at this frame. Hard cut back to the past 2 seconds, night convenience store entrance, she hands him a cup of hot drink, he doesn't take it, looking down at her, "이거 나 주는 거야?" (Is this for me?) She rolls her eyes and turns to leave, he smiles and follows, the camera follows the backs of the two walking into the night. Hard cut back to the present 3 seconds, she stands at the rooftop entrance, hand gripping the iron gate, rain hitting her shoulder, she doesn't move, just stands there watching his back, unsure whether to enter or leave. Hard cut to the past 4 seconds, extreme close-up, his hand puts the earphone into her ear, his fingertip lingers by her ear for a second, both pretend not to notice. Hard cut to the present 5 seconds, extreme close-up, the same hands, now tucked into his pockets, rainwater seeping in through the cuffs, his hands slowly clench in his pocket. 6 to 10 seconds are all slowed down, she finally lets go of the iron gate and walks into the rain, stopping half a meter behind him, the rain is loud, but her voice still cuts through— "왜 연락 안 했어." (Why didn't you contact me.) He doesn't turn around, silent for two seconds, "연락하면 뭐가 달라져?" (What difference would contacting me make.) She closes her eyes, her chest feels heavily pressed by something, when she speaks again, her voice is trembling— "달라지잖아. 나한테는." (It would make a difference. To me.) He finally turns around, seeing her face where rain and tears are indistinguishable, his Adam's apple moves, he speaks hoarsely— "알아. 그래서 더 못 했어." (I know. That's why I couldn't do it even more.) 10 to 13 seconds, dissolve montage, the same rooftop, the same camera position, the past is a sunny evening, she stands by the railing smiling back at him, he strides over and pulls her into his arms, the sunset stretches their shadows long, the present is a rainy night, the same position, he stands in front of her, the two timelines overlap in the same frame for a full second, her past smile and her present tears pressed onto the same face. 13 to 15 seconds, he doesn't speak again, raises his hand and presses her head into his chest, she resists for two seconds, then her hands slowly rise and tightly grip the clothes on his back, the camera slowly pulls back to an extreme long shot, the two shrink into a silhouette in the rain curtain, neon lights shatter and flicker in the puddles, the picture gradually stills, the sound gradually disappears, fade to black. Past scenes are entirely warm yellow-orange 16mm film grain handheld follow-shot, present scenes are cold blue-black rainwater reflection stabilizer shot, camera pushes in for extreme close-ups during dialogue, saturation explodes for one frame during the dissolve then returns to cold tones, background music uses light guitar plucking in the past scenes, fades out when entering the present scenes leaving only the sound of rain, a deep cello single string starts playing after the last line of dialogue, complete silence before the fade to black.
