Let’s light a flame tonight — in memory of the friends who are no longer here. This song is for the ones who left too soon. For the friends we shared years with. For the laughter that once felt ordinary. For the advice that only makes sense later. For the silence that never truly replaced them.

I love honey bees. They are so precious to us and so appreciated. All summer long I spend my time in the swimming pool rescuing the bees that land on the water. I have a fly swatter that I use as a little bee elevator where I lift them out of the water and back to safety.

Tokyo, the faceless city.

I wrote this song about those people who walk in a room and just suck the air out of it with their negativity. Or people who are energy vampires who drain the energy out of you. I've known quite a few in my life. The video came after the song for this one. It's usually the other way around.
